He is a Board member and Education Chairman of the International Society of Hip Arthroscopy & Joint Preservation Surgery, Research Director for Eastern Health and has been a co-designer of new hip instrumentation, implants and a new surgical technique.
After graduating from St George’s Hospital Medical School, London, with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), he trained in orthopaedics in the UK. He then completed a Hip Arthroscopy and Anterior Muscle Sparing Total Hip Replacement Fellowship in Melbourne with the world’s highest volume hip arthroscopy orthopaedic surgeon, Professor John O’Donnell, followed by a second fellowship at the Elective Orthopaedic Centre in Epsom with world leading expert in bone conserving surgery, Professor Richard Field. He subsequently migrated to Australia with his wife and two children in 2010.
